These terms explain how you may use this website. They apply to anyone browsing this site and are separate from the Therapeutic Agreement and Informed Consent document, which governs the therapeutic relationship itself once we begin working together.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not continue to use the site.

1. About this website

This website is run by Monica Chiorascu, an integrative counsellor and trainee psychosexual and relationship therapist, to provide information about my practice, including my services, approach, and how to get in touch.

2. Not a substitute for therapy or emergency support

The content on this website — including any articles, blog posts, or general information about therapeutic approaches — is provided for general information only. It is not therapy, does not constitute clinical advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for an assessment or treatment from a qualified professional.

This website is not monitored in real time and must not be used to contact me in a crisis or emergency. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or in an emergency, 999 or your nearest A&E. The Samaritans are available at any time on 116 123.

3. Enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry or completing a contact form through this website does not, by itself, create a therapeutic relationship or any obligation on my part to offer you an appointment. A therapeutic relationship begins only once we have both agreed to work together and have completed the relevant intake and consent process, including the Therapeutic Agreement.

I aim to respond to enquiries within a reasonable timeframe, but response times are not guaranteed, and this website should not be used for anything urgent.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website — including text, design, and any original graphics — belongs to me. You are welcome to share links to this website, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial content from it without my permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

5. Accuracy of content

I take reasonable care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, including details of my qualifications, training status, and registrations. However, I do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free at all times, and I reserve the right to update or amend it as needed.

This website may contain links to third-party websites, such as BACP, COSRT, or NHS resources. These are provided for convenience and information only. I have no control over the content of external sites and am not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
