What I offer

I provide one-to-one counselling sessions in a safe, confidential setting. Sessions are available: Face to Face and Online - each session lasts 50 minutes and is typically held weekly, although this can be adjusted depending on your needs. Online sessions can be by phone or via secure video call.

What i can help with

My area of expertise is working with grief and loss (including bereavement and ambiguous loss) however, I offer support with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

Childhood abuse; Trauma and unresolved issues; Disordered eating and body image; PTSD; Expat related issues; Identity issues; Parenting issues; Relationship and dating; Health: health anxiety, chronic illness; Low self-esteem and not feeling good enough; Work-related issues; Feeling overwhelmed and experiencing panic; stress; Depression and low mood; Anxiety and worry; Anger and conflict; Family relationships: estrangement, divorce, infidelity; Emotional regulation and inner conflict; Life transitions and feeling lost or stuck; People pleasing, guilt and difficulty saying no; etc

How it works

Please feel free to get in touch via email to arrange a brief phone call. This initial conversation offers a chance to talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. If we decide to move forward, we can then arrange a 50-minute initial session to explore your concerns in more depth and consider whether therapy feels like the right path — and whether I’m the right person to support you. A good fit is essential, as the relationship we build together is central to the therapeutic process.

If we choose to meet in person, i will send you directions and everything you need to know the day prior to our appointment; if our session is over the phone, i will call you at the agreed time; if we meet online, you will receive a link before the session.

I offer both time-limited and open-ended therapy. It may be that you are facing a particular challenge in your life, and are looking for short-term support, or it may be a more deep-rooted difficulty that needs more time to address. This is something that we would discuss in our initial meeting.

If we decide we want to work together, we commit to meet once weekly, for 50 minutes.

Fees

Fees are £60 per session.
